11/20/2025 Feature Update: A Fresh New Look + Powerful New Tools

New Home Buddy just received its biggest design upgrade ever–and we didn’t stop there.

This month’s update brings a cleaner UI, smarter workflows, a redesigned Client Details page, new QR code tools, clearer incentives, and deeper visibility across Connections.

Every change was built to help agents and builder reps work faster, share homes easier, and close more deals with less friction.

Let’s walk through everything that’s new:

A Fresh, Modern UI Across the Entire Platform

We gave both the Agent Portal and Builder Portal a complete visual makeover.

Almost every page has been redesigned. You’ll notice cleaner spacing, better typography, updated colors, and improved consistency from top to bottom.

Whether you prefer Light Mode or Dark Mode, the platform now feels smoother, brighter, and far more polished:

Here’s what’s improved across both portals:

  • Cleaner colors and typography that’s easier to read
  • Consistent spacing and layout across all screens
  • Better navigation and visual hierarchy
  • Updated iconography
  • More modern buttons and form fields
  • Global UI refinements that make every page feel cohesive

This redesign is the foundation for even more improvements coming soon, including updates to the Clients list and Lead Gen Search pages.

Redesigned Client Details Page

The Client Details page was rebuilt from the ground up.

Before, the layout felt cluttered. Important actions were hard to find. Engagement tracking also wasn’t front-and-center. Now everything is cleaner, simpler, and easier to scan.

What’s new:

1. A reorganized layout

Saved Searches, Favorites, and Activity are separated cleanly so you can focus on what matters.

2. A much larger Activity Feed

You now have a full, timestamped activity log with every home viewed or favorited. This makes follow-up easier and smarter.

3. Clearer buttons and actions

“New Search,” “Notes,” and “View Favorites Map” are easier to find.

4. Improved mobile layout

Client details now look great on every device — even when switching between searches, activity, and favorites.

This page is now one of the fastest ways to understand a buyer’s intent with just a quick glance.

Your Personal Link now comes with a built-in QR code–and it behaves differently depending on your device.

On Desktop

Click the QR code icon and download the QR image instantly.

You can drop it onto:

  • Flyers
  • Open house sign-in sheets
  • Yard signs
  • Postcards
  • Email signatures
  • Business cards

Agents can use QR codes to generate new leads from print marketing.

Builder reps can use them to help local agents connect with them instantly.

On Mobile

Tapping the QR icon opens your phone’s share options.

You can:

  • Text the QR code
  • Save it to your photos
  • Drop it into group chats
  • AirDrop it at events
  • Send it via Messenger or WhatsApp

It’s the fastest way to share your branded link without typing a single word.

See How Many Connections a Builder Rep Has

In the Agent Portal, when you search for a builder rep on the Connections page, you’ll now see the total number of connections that rep has.

This appears as a small icon badge next to their name:

Why this matters:

  • Agents can quickly identify highly connected reps
  • Reps with more connections often respond faster and collaborate more
  • It builds social proof and trust before forming a new connection

Connections are still fully agent-initiated–builder reps cannot add agents themselves. This ensures agents always stay in control.

Clearer Incentives and BTSA Information

We improved the incentives section on Home Details pages so agents can clearly understand all the financial benefits tied to a home.

This includes:

  • BTSA incentives
  • Commission percentage
  • Builder-paid closing costs
  • Promotional interest rates
  • Additional incentive promotions

Each incentive category includes a purple tooltip icon with a simple explanation of what that field means:

This extra clarity helps agents talk confidently about deals — without having to look up builder terminology, acronyms, or incentive structures.
