A New Command Center for Builder Leadership
If you manage a sales team, you know the struggle. Leads come in through different channels. Reps are doing their own thing. And you’re left piecing together the full picture from emails, spreadsheets, and hallway conversations.
That changes today.
We’re excited to announce the New Home Buddy Sales Portal — a brand-new management hub built specifically for builder leadership. It lives at sales.newhomebuddy.com and gives you real-time visibility into leads, rep activity, and team performance across your division(s).
And the best part? The features available today are completely free.
Why We Built the Sales Portal
New Home Buddy has always focused on connecting builders, agents, and buyers. Our Builder Portal gives sales reps the tools to share listings, capture leads, and build relationships with agents.
But we kept hearing the same thing from Division Presidents, VPs of Sales, and Regional Managers:
“I can see what my reps are doing in their own portal — but I need a bigger picture. Who’s getting leads? Who’s building agent connections? Where’s the momentum?”
The Sales Portal answers those questions. It’s designed to sit above the Builder Portal and give management the oversight they’ve been missing — without disrupting how reps work day to day.
What’s Included Today — Free
Here’s what you get right now at launch. No subscription required.
Dashboard 📊
The Dashboard is your home screen. Pick a division, choose a time period (7, 30, 60, or 90 days), and instantly see what’s happening.

Recent Leads
A chronological feed of every lead across your division. This includes leads that went to your default online sales contact and leads your reps received through their Agent Connections.
That second part is important. When an agent connects with one of your reps on New Home Buddy, that rep — not your default contact — gets the lead notification. Before the Sales Portal, you had no easy way to see those leads. Now you do.
Each lead shows you the agent’s name and contact info, the home details (if applicable), who received the lead, and what action triggered it — whether that’s a tour request, a buyer needs request, a favorited home, or something else.
Builder Rep Performance
Next to your leads, you’ll see every rep in your division ranked by NHB Momentum™ — an AI-powered signal that measures buyer interest across views, favorites, and direct inquiries.
Each rep’s card shows activity counts for:
- Connections — new agent connections made
- Home Clicks — how often buyers clicked on their homes
- Favorites — homes favorited by buyers
- Contact Views — agents or buyers who viewed contact info
- Tours & Info Requests — scheduled tours or more info requests
You’ll also see a trend arrow showing whether each rep’s momentum is up, down, or steady compared to the previous period. Hover over it to see the exact percentage change.💡 Why this matters: You can quickly spot your top performers, identify reps who need coaching, and see which communities are generating the most activity — all without asking anyone for a report.
User Management 👥
The Sales Portal has a built-in team management system. You can invite new users, assign roles, and control who sees what across your divisions.

Four User Roles
- Admin — Full access. Manage all users and analytics across every division.
- Division Manager — View leads and analytics, edit rep profiles, and invite users within their division(s).
- Portal Viewer — View-only access to leads and analytics. Can’t manage or invite users.
- Sales Rep — Standard builder rep account. Uses the Builder Portal only. No Sales Portal access.
Admins and Managers can invite new team members directly from the Users page. Each person gets an email with login instructions. It takes about 30 seconds.
You can also edit rep profiles, update their assigned communities, change roles, and even hide reps from Agent Connection search results if they’re no longer active.
Lastly, you can click into any rep’s profile to see their recent traffic and leads — giving you a clear view of which reps are driving activity and where that activity is coming from.

🚀 What’s Coming Next
What you see today is just the foundation. We’re actively building the next round of features — and they’re coming soon.
Premium Analytics (Coming Soon)
Paid dashboards are on the way with deeper insights, including:
- Top Agents — see which agents are most active across your division, ranked by NHB Momentum™
- Top Homes — see which listings are getting the most attention
- Home Impressions & Clicks — track trends with percentage changes vs. previous periods
- Contact Engagement — how often agents and buyers are reaching out
- Market Insights — division-wide averages for home price, sqft, bed/bath, interest rates, agent commission, builder-paid closing costs, top amenities, and more
Incentive Management (Coming Soon)
Soon, Admins and Division Managers will be able to update and manage incentives directly from the Sales Portal. That includes agent commission, agent bonus (BTSA), builder-paid closing costs, interest rates, and additional incentive text.
You’ll be able to set incentives by community or by individual home. And you’ll get automatic reminders when an incentive is about to expire (7 days, 3 days, and 1 day).
No more chasing down marketing to update a listing. No more expired promos sitting on your site. You’ll have full control.
Who Should Use the Sales Portal?
The Sales Portal is built for the people who oversee new home sales teams. If any of these sound like you, this is your tool:
- Division Presidents who need high-level visibility across markets
- VPs of Sales who want to track rep performance and lead flow
- Regional and Division Sales Managers who manage reps day to day
- Marketing Directors who monitor lead sources and engagement
- Online Sales Counselors who track lead activity (Portal Viewer role)
Your sales reps don’t need to change anything. They keep using the Builder Portal like they always have. The Sales Portal gives you the window into their activity that you’ve been missing.
Not Yet on New Home Buddy?
The Sales Portal is available to all builders who list their homes on New Home Buddy. If your builder isn’t on the platform yet, getting started is simple.
New Home Buddy is the only new construction listing platform that shows agent commission, builder-paid closing costs, and interest rates right on the listing. We also offer features you won’t find anywhere else — like Agent Connections, Buyer Needs Requests, and branded lead gen links for your reps.
