Buyer Needs Requests Are Live — A Faster, Smarter Way to Match Buyers With Builders
Agents can now send direct “Buyer Needs Requests” to selected builders — giving builder reps instant visibility into what active buyers are searching for.
This is one of our biggest communication upgrades yet.
How It Works
- Agents fill out a short form describing their buyer’s needs
- They choose which builders or builder reps they want to notify
- Connected builder reps receive the request instantly — just like a lead
- Reps can respond quickly with matching inventory, future releases, or recommended plans
The best part: connections matter.
Connected reps receive these alerts first, giving them a real advantage in serving agents quickly.
Why This Matters
Before this feature, matching buyers with builders often meant:
- Text threads
- Facebook group posts
- Guessing who the right rep is
- Slow or inconsistent responses
Now everything happens inside one streamlined system — fast, clear, and documented.
It’s another step toward changing the way new construction homes are sold, by giving agents and builders a real communication channel built for today’s market.

Cleaner, Easier-to-Read Clients List & Lead Gen List
Both pages received a UI cleanup to match the modern design and spacing used across the rest of the platform.
What’s Improved
- More spacing

- A simplified layout that’s easier to scan

These lists sit at the center of your daily workflow. This update makes them feel lighter, faster, and more intuitive — whether you’re managing clients or analyzing your top-performing Lead Gen Searches.
Simpler Filters to Match How Buyers Actually Think
We simplified three key filters after noticing that most people only needed them in one direction — not both.
Interest Rate → Max Only
People don’t search for a minimum rate — they want the best rate available.
Example: Interest Rate Up To 1.99%
Tax Rate → Max Only
Buyers want to know their ceiling, not a range.
Example: Tax Rate Up To 2.25%
Builder Paid Closing Costs → Min Only
Incentives make sense when you know the starting point.
Example: Builder Paid Closing Costs Starting at $10,000
This update makes filtering easier, more intuitive, and more aligned with how people actually search.
Agent Portal: A Better, More Powerful Builder Filter
The Builder filter inside the Agent Portal just got a major upgrade — making it easier to explore inventory and tailor searches for your buyers.
What’s New
Agents used to only be able to filter by typing in one builder name at a time.
Now the Builder filter:
- Shows all builders in the market(s) you’ve selected in your profile
- Lets you select multiple builders at once
- Lets you exclude specific builders with a click
- Displays the number of builder reps you’re connected with at each builder
This makes it incredibly useful for crafting niche searches, comparing builders, and creating targeted Lead Gen content.

- Better control when searching inventory

It also integrates seamlessly with your Market selections, so you always see the right builders.
Major SEO Improvements Are Now Live for All Shared Links
We’ve rolled out a huge upgrade to how New Home Buddy links appear across social platforms, search engines, and messaging apps,
Server-Side Rendering (SSR) Is Now Powering All Shared Links
New Home Buddy now uses fully implemented Server-Side Rendering, a major technical milestone for our web app.
In simple terms:
SSR lets us generate all SEO information before the page loads, so platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, iMessage, and Google instantly see the correct:
- Title
- Description
- Preview Image
No missing previews. No generic text. No outdated link info.
This is something most dynamic web apps struggle with — but New Home Buddy now has it built in across the entire platform.
Dynamic SEO for Every Link Type
Every link you share now has accurate, customized preview data:
- Individual home links show property-specific photos, pricing, community, and builder
- Personal Links show optimized preview cards branded to you
- Lead Gen Searches automatically generate titles and images based on the search
If you share it, we optimize it.
Cleaner URLs for Homes (No More “#”)
Individual home links now use a clean URL format — we removed the “#” symbol that caused Instagram and some other platforms to treat parts of the link like a hashtag.
This ensures your shared home links consistently show the correct preview image.
And Yes… Profile Photos on Link Previews Are Coming 😉
Now that SSR is fully live, we have the ability to load agent and builder rep profile photos directly onto the preview card for Personal Links.
There’s already a dedicated space in the design — meaning your branded link previews will soon feel even more personal and professional across social media.
